JKBOPEE has declared the round 2 admission dates for JK NEET PG counselling 2024, while focusing on filling up remaining MD/MS/PGD seats in ASCOMS under the Hindu Minority and NRI quota. As per the official notification, the counselling for ranks 1-500 will be conducted on December 17, 2024, and for ranks 501-1092 along with all other categories on December 18, 2024.

Dear student,

Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences in Jammu does not conduct its own entrance exam for admission to the MBBS program. Instead, the college accepts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission. To be eligible for counselling at Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences, candidates must score at least the minimum qualifying percentile in the NEET UG exam. The required percentiles are 45th for General-PH and 40th for SC/ST/OBC categories. NEET UG 2024 counselling schedule has been announced, with registration for Round 1 starting on August 14, 2024.

It includes a six month mandatory internship after completion of five years. The seat intake of Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences MBBS course is 100.

The Bank Guarantee must be for a period of study/ (04) FDRs of the amount equivalent to the tuition fee for the remaining period of study. The Affidavit relating to the Bank Guarantee is available on the official website of the college which is ascomscollege.com. You must download the affidavit and fill in all the details in it. The detailed format and amount of the BG required for Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences admission is mentioned below:

Bank Guarantee equivalent to the amount of 4 years of Tuition fee to be pledged to ASCOMS College and Hospital, Sidhra, Jammu.

You can get admission to the MBBS course at the college if you meet the eligibility criteria for admission. These include passing class 12 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in a relevant stream. Apart from this, you will also be required to obtain a good score in the NEET UG exam. The final selection for the Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences admission to MBBS will be based on the Jammu and Kashmir NEET Counselling.
